  A TIME TO REPAY THE DEBT
  Ken Goewey is a prominent lifetime NYS resident and experienced business person and volunteer. A person who can bring NYS off the financial cliff we now hang from. Using his experience from idea to successful implementation of concrete solutions he will overhaul NYS government by returning us to the Founding Fathers' concept of citizen servant leadership and sound financial principles.
  The single volunteer term will replace the money driven re-election system that has taken this state to be the highest tax state in the nation and the least functioning.  He will engage the voice of the silent majority who has given up any hope of being heard.
  NYS can return to being the Empire State fiscally sound and serving its citizens needs.

Servant leadership - he will take no pay, pension, or state health care coverage and serve just one term.

Tax Cut -  Tax Cut - he will cut income taxes by 20% the first year with a goal of 50% by end of term

Privatization - he will seek to privatize as many government operations as feasible and base all decisions on merit and personal productivity.

Education Reform -  he will seek to have teachers and school administrators' pay based on student learning and performance. He will promote charter schools and vouchers to provide more options for parents utilizing "THE ONE ROOM SCHOOL HOUSE MODEL".

Welfare Reform - all able-bodied welfare recipients will be required to do public service in return for their benefits; especially fathers of children of unwed mothers

Energy -  stable and affordable power will be a top priority to win new business and keep existing businesses from leaving the state. Less dependence on outside sources.

Health Care Reform - break traditional medicine's hold on the health care system by allowing alternative holistic approaches to prevention and wellness to flourish.  This will result in more competition, less cost and healthier New Yorkers. THE 3RD OPTION FOR WELLNESS.

Government Reform - he will limit individual campaign contributions to $200 per person and place a lifetime ban on all lobbying on himself, people related by blood or marriage, and those he appoints to top state jobs.
