Everyone’s concerned about their health. Everyone wants to live a rich, fulfilling,
life. But what are the right things to do? How often does it seem like the guidelines for healthy living
are contradictory ? Modern medical practice may have a lot to offer, but it’s not always the right answer,
or the best answer, in every case, for every individual. In fact some studies suggest the conventional approach
may have plenty of pitfalls of its own.
“According to the medical report DEATH BY MEDICINE by Drs. Gary Null, Carolyn Dean,
Martin Feldman, Rasio and Dorothy Smith, 783,936people die in the U.S. every
year as a result of conventional medicine mistakes. This equals 6 jumbo jet crashes a day for an entire year.”

this an acceptable cost of doing medical business?
“Another 1995 study stated “The (Doctor-caused) death rate dwarfs the annual automobile accident
mortality rate of 45,000 and accounts for more deaths than all
other accidents combined. “ That study was issued before the Vioxx disaster killed 60,000 people all by itself.”(mercola.com)
“Since 2001, 490,000 people in the U.S.
have died from prescription drugs while 2,996 people in the
U.S. died from terrorism, all in the 9/11 attacks; prescription drugs are therefore 16,400% more dangerous than
terrorism. If deaths from over-the-counter drugs are also included, then drug consumption leaps to being
32,000% more dangerous than terrorism. And conventional medicine viewed as a whole is 104,700% deadlier than
terrorism.”(mercola.com)
“Next year’s budget for the Department of Homeland Security will exceed $34
billion. By comparison this country spends about 8x that amount annually-$282 billion-on deaths due to medical mistakes. That’s a conservative estimate
however, because only a fraction of medical errors are reported. The problems are primarily those of money
and ethics. Drugs are over prescribed and surgeries are over-recommended in order to increase the profits
of the medical industry. 9/11 was a terrible tragedy, and terrorism is a real problem, but the corruption
and de-regulation of the medical and pharmaceutical industries is a greater problem still.” Newstarget, July 5,

70% of all antibiotic use is in agriculture.” (Dr. Steve Heilig, Mercola.com) This means
that the U.S. food supply contains 70% of un-prescribed antibiotics
being consumed by U.S. citizens. Is this acceptable?
Bottom line is you better not get sick but if you do, you better know your options to regain wellness. Hence the
WELLNESS
JOURNEY FORUM ’05.
The Forum will address how local medical
practitioners apply other forms than
traditional medicine to reduce and eliminate
CHRONIC DISEASE.
Other providers of service to the
chronically ill will also participate.
Five individuals will tell their story of self-education and application of these therapies
after not being able to create wellness in the traditional medical setting.
A by-product of this event is to create within the chronically ill hope and self confidence and to apply other
forms of assistance in cooperation of their newly acquired wellness team. The Forum will also help connect those
who are ill with CAPITOL AREA RESOURCES TO REGAIN AND MAINTAIN THEIR WELLNESS.
